Julie Schultz is a certified (type 73) school counselor and former second grade teacher. Julie’s 18 years experience with Chicago public schools has shaped her knowledge of the great need for social emotional support in an academic setting. Julie has had experience with various programs including second step, elyssas mission, calm classroom, individual and group counseling models and aligning lessons to the Illinois social emotional standards.  Julie has a passion for teaching children ( including 3 of her own) how to treat others kind and in a respectful manner. Julie has embraced the mission of the “do good movement” and brings a wealth of knowledge to grow our program in various academic settings.
